Role of Choreographers

The design of movements for the physical bodies involving motion, form or both which is done in a given sequence is known as choreography. Creation of convention or plans used in construction of objects, measurable human interaction and systems can also be described as choreography. There are a number of fields where choreography can be put into use in the todays world including musical theater, fashion shows, cinematography, gymnastics, animated art, video game production, show choir among many others. Choreography in performing arts applies in human form and movement while in dance it can be referred to as dance composition or dance choreography. A professional person who does all the activities involved in choreography can be referred to as choreographer.

Choreographers takes an active role in producing music videos. A television that signs a contract with the given organization to air the TV commercials will benefit in that they shall be paid by the organization for the period of time they shall be airing the TV commercial. A choreographer who produces high-quality TV commercials that meet the standards of broadcasting will enhance their viewership and in return the organization will achieve the intended purpose such as increased sales and passing of intended information.

Production TV commercials and music videos need the choreographer to possess certain skills that will ensure that they are successful. Most successful choreographers practice choreography as an inborn talent where they put it into practice over time to be successful. A choreographer needs to have knowledge of all the styles and routines used in choreography to ensure that one is able to produce appropriate story ideas which are related to either music videos or TV commercial production. For successfully leading and controlling the individuals involved in the creation of music dances or TV commercials, one has to possess good leadership skills. In successfully producing TV commercials and music videos, creativity by the choreographer is key as well as discipline is sacrificing in all ways to ensure successful work.
